PCProtect Setup

How to Download and Install PCProtect

Download

  • Click Here To Download PCProtect
  • Open the Downloaded File within your browser or by going to your downloads folder in File Explorer

    • Install

  • Click Yes to allow PCProtect to make changes to your device
  • Click Install
  • Wait for PCProtect to Install and Update
    • If you are experiencing issues with either Downloading or Installing PCProtect Click Here for help!

    Set Up Real-Time Protection

    Once you have installed PCProtect you will need to enable Real-Time Protection to safeguard you from real time threats.


  • Click Enable Protection



    • Once Real-Time Protection is enabled, please ensure you run a first time scan on your computer, by clicking on Run Smart Scan so any threats that are currently situated on your system can be quarantined ASAP.

    NOTE: You are not logged into an account. To login please click here.

    For some Mac's, you will have to install Rosetta 2 from Apple. This enables a mac with apple silicon to use apps built for a mac with an intel processor.

    Download

  • Click Here To Download PCProtect
  • Open the Downloaded File within your browser

    • Install

  • Double Click the Package Icon to begin the Installation
  • The Installation Window will pop up, please click Continue
  • Select the Destination you would like to Install TotalAV and Click Install
  • Input your Apple Password
  • Installation Successful!
    • If you are experiencing issues with either Downloading or Installing PCProtect Click Here for help!
  • A Window will pop up, as below, please Click on Get Started
  • TotalAV will attempt to login using your current browser session
  • Login Successful!


    • If you are unable to login via the Browser Session Method, a window below will pop up.
  • Enter your Login Details to enabled TotalAV.

    • Set Up Real-Time Protection

    Once you have installed PCProtect you will need to enable Real-Time Protection to safeguard you from real time threats.

  • Click Dashboard
  • Click Enable
  • Click Install
  • Open System Preferences

  • Click Open Security Preferences
  • Click the Lock Icon
  • Enter your Mac's Password
  • Click Unlock
  • Click Allow

    • Go to the PCProtect Application

  • Click Open System Preferences
  • Click PCProtect Real-Time Protection 5 in the System Preferences Screen
  • Click Complete Setup in the PCProtect Application


    • If you are experiencing issues with enabling Real-Time Protection, please Click Here.

    Download

  • Click Here To Download PCProtect
  • Open the Downloaded File within your browser

    • Install

  • Double Click the Package Icon to begin the Installation
  • The Installation Window will pop up, please click Continue
  • Select the Destination you would like to install PCProtect and Click Install
  • Input your Apple Password
  • Installation Successful!

  • A Window will pop up, as below, please Click on Get Started
  • PCProtect will attempt to login using your current browser session.
  • Login Successful!


  • If you are unable to login via the Browser Session Method, a window below will pop up.

    • Enter your Login Details to enable PCProtect

    Set up Real-Time Protection

    Once you have installed PCProtect you will need to enable Real-Time Protection to safeguard you from real time threats.

  • Click on the orange Enable Button on the Dashboard view.


  • Click on the green button labeled Open System Preferences.


  • Enabled PCProtect to have Full Disk Access by clicking on the toggle button.


  • Enter your Apple Login and click Modify Settings.


  • Click on Later.


  • Full Disk Access Granted.


  • Click on Install.


  • Click on Open System Settings.


  • Click on the toggle button to enabled PCProtect Real Time Extension.


  • Enter your Apple Login and click Ok.


  • Click on Done.


  • Click on Next.


  • Click on Open System Preferences.


  • Enable the PCProtect Real-Time Extension by clicking the toggle button.


  • Enter your Apple Login details and click Unlock.


  • System Extension Full Disk Access Granted, click on Re-Launch


    • You're Protected!

    Download and Install

  • Tap here on your Android Device to download our .apk
  • Drag down your phone's status bar once downloaded
  • Tap open the downloaded PCProtect .apk
  • Tap Settings
  • Enable 'Install unknown apps' for your web browser you downloaded the apk through
  • Tap Install
  • Tap Open

    • You will now be able to login to PCProtect.
